Notes
a. Note:   \tx4480\tx5040\tx5600\tx6160\tx6720\pardirnatural\f0\fs24 \cf0 \par --My gg grandfather Eli Branson Frazier was likely named for Eli Branson b 1776 d 1818 Chatham Co NC, son of Levi Branson & Mary Maynor who were members of the Cane Creek Quaker MM in Guilford NC. \par --Levi Branson & Mary Maynor had a daughter Rebecca Branson who married Thomas Pugh, the son of Enoch Pugh & Esther unknown, and grandson of Thomas Pugh b 1706 & Elizabeth Richardson (unverified parents of Mary Pugh who married George Thomas Frazier--Eli Branson Frazier's great grandparents) \par --So there was a definite traceable connection between the Quaker Frazier, Branson, & Pugh families of Guilford NC. \par --More research to come. See index for more info on the Branson & Pugh families \par --Records found: \par 1840 Hamilton Co IN, Washington twp, in household of his father Henry Frazer \par 1850 Boone Co IN census, Sugar Creek twp with wife and children \par 1860 Boone co IN census, Sugar Creek twp with wife and children \par 1870 Boone Co IN census, Sugar Creek twp, Elizaville P.O. with wife and children \par --Paul Steinbach whose wife is a descendent has noted that Eli may have briefly joined the army during the Civil War, this according to Eli's daughter Julia Ann Frazier Way. Eli may have joined the 115th Regiment of the Indiana Infantry, which was organized in Aug of 1863, and disbanded Feb 1864 w/o having seen much action. More research to come. \par --Eli & family moved from Indiana to Bangor, Marshall Co Iowa in 1870, and he died there in 1871. \par --His cccupation was tanner \par --Eli Branson Frazier is buried at Bangor Friend's Church Cemetary, Bangor, Marshall Co IA.
