Note:   http://www.myinky.com/ecp/obits/article/0,1626,ECP_779_911360,00.html Dec 17, 2001 Ruth Helzerman, 57, of Newburgh, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at Deaconess Hospital of congestive heart failure. She was a pastor's wife at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Newburgh and was instrumental in founding the three congregations in Indiana. She was a director of Breathe Free and the Five-Day Plans to stop smoking. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Richard; two daughters, Shelley Houser of Newburgh and Marcey Hilt of Cincinnati; two sons, Randy of Portland, Ore., and Ryan of Newburgh; and three sisters, Carolyn Fraser and Audrey Burns, both of St. Charles, Mich., and Donna Myers of Collegedale, Tenn. Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, with burial in Bates Hill Cemetery in Yankeetown, Ind. Alexander Newburgh Chapel is handling arrangements.
