  The inscription on Alfred Keyes' tombstone reads as follows:
  In treasured memory Of my dearly loved and loving husband, Lt. Colonel Alfred John Huddleston Keyes, Royal Artillery (Ret'd), son Of the late Colonel T. Keyes, Madras Army, and Of his late wife Jane. Born Nov. 22nd 1874. Married March 17th. 1909.
