Note: JOHN H. BOIE IS CALLED BY DEATH 1933 WALDO HILLS, Jan. 11. - John H. Boie, 67, of Cold Lake, Alberta, father of Mrs. John Small of Waldo Hills, died late Tuesday at Klamath Falls, where he had gone a few days ago to undergo an operation, and to be under care of a daughter and son-in-law. He died before the operation. Mr. Boie made his home in the Silverton district until eight years ago. Mrs. Small met him at La Grande Sunday and accompanied him to Klamath Falls. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at the Catholic church at Silverton, with interment in the Silverton cemetery. His widow will not be able to come from Cold Lake. Other survivors include five daughters. Mrs. Small of this place, Blanche of Cold Lake, Mrs. George Adler of Klamath Falls, Mrs. W. C. McArthur of Astoria and Mrs. D.A. Rogers of LaGrande.
