  At the marriage of Samuel to Margaret Jamison, John Jamison was bondsman. (Bruce Logan, FIDO North American Genealogy Conference, Dec 1993) There was a marriage of James Wills (Samuel's brother?) to Margaret Moore, 11 Jan 1802, with Samuel Wills and John Jamison as bondsmen. (Bruce Logan, see above) Samuel Wills, the presumed maternal grandfather of Alexander M. Scott was in the Battle of Londy's Lane, in the War of 1812. He gave a tomahawk that narrowly missed him there to Alexander's mother, Martha Wills. "The will of Samuel Wills, dated 10 Mar 1828, lists wife Margaret Wills, son David Wills, witnesses James Nealis and Samuel Moore." (Bruce Logan, see above)
