  Eva's Jewish name was Khave, or Khavela. Her godmother may have been her aunt, Riva Oreckovsky Waller Sosnovsky Brickman. On the back of a photograph of Chaim and Riva Waller sent in the 1890s from Yelisavetgrad, Russia, w partially obscured Yiddish inscription, speaking of being godparents of Khave.
