  Georgia Mae Crowder remembers her grandfather, George Parker, as a pretty special man. He died at age 54, leaving Amma to raise three boys. She never considered marrying again. Amma lived with her granddaughter, Georgia Mae Parker Shields from (before 1941) until 1952, then went to live with her son Dan. She was 78 years old at that time.
  Believe that George D. Parker is the brother of Sallie Parker, 2nd wife of Jessie H. Pearson.
