Note; by Carole (Guthrie) Bonnell Kieth was my father in law and took the place of my father who livedin Seattle, He was alway helpful and generous to me from the time Icame into the family until he left it. He gave us property to buildour home, helped build it. Sold us the rental we used for a Floristand GArden shop, stopping by to do any little chore I needed doing. He lent us money without interest to buy our loader and wenttogether to buy our first dump truck (for $ 1,000). He always wasthere for us when we needed help. Kieth could fix or manufacture anything you could think up. hemade his own cement mixer, and could repair anything broken. Hehelped wherever he was asked. He made friends with the minister acrossthe street from him and worked free on the chuch remodel, doingbackhoe work and plumbing at no cost to the church - Kieth never wentto church, but was generous in spirit. He gave each of his children a peice of property to build a home on,and helped them in any way he could. He hammered on their houses andhelped them pay taxes when times where tough for them. He loanedmoney for schools, businesses, cars and any reasonable request by hisfamily. We miss him daily (1998). He encouraged us in our businesses andhelped work on our equipment and flower shop building. He put grateson my windows when I had gotten robbed at the flower shop and came topick me up when my van broke down picking up supplies. He could be a grouch, but really was kind hearted to me and others. He didn't want too many people to know how nice he could be. Heirritated relatives and if he knew he could 'get to them', he would. Iwill miss him forever.
