a. Note:   Kentucky with their three oldest children. In the 1870 census, Lucy and six of her oldest children are living in Williamson County. In the 1880 census, Lucy and five of her children are living with her son Benjamin and his wife Martha. Recorded in Guardian Bond Book #2 in Williamson County, Tennessee, on September 12, 1876, Benjamin J. Culbertson is appointed guardian of William Franklin and Mary E. Culbertson and bond is given to draw money from the estate of Watt Culberson In Calloway County, Kentucky. Nothing is said of the other four children. The death certificate of Sidell, one of the youngest children, states his father is Watt Culberson.
