One source said Ambie and Charles married in 1868. Came to TX in 1872. Jacob Young was living with Sarahand C. F. House in Karnes Co., in 1880. Family tradition is that Sarah was a first cousin of Gen. George Armstrong Custer but no evidence found, although they share a common ancestor several generationsback..
