Note: At the end of WW2, she accompanied her husband to Geneva and later to New York where they lived in New Rochelle. In 1957 they returned to England, bought a house in Surbiton, Surrey and her husband worked a Comptroller for the Egg Marketing Board. He suffered a severe stroke in 1962 and was forced to retire. In 1965 they visited Canada to see their first grandchild. Her husband died two weeks after arrived fron a second stroke. She returned to England in 1966 and decided in 1968 to move to Canada. Upon her arrival she bought a house on Kitchener Avenue in Ottawa, passed the Realtor examinations and settled in to Canadian life.
