Uncle Lyle C. McDermott, Jr.: Pappy was born in Montpelier, Idaho, July 16, 1898. He grew up there, had fifth grade education, had a stiff leg, hunting accedent. He was in hospital for a year in Pocatello, when came out Doc Guyon Scraped the bone, infection set in. He grew up in Montpelier, his father was killed on railroad, after he was killed Uncle Jim and Sara took in. Family in Jim, Sara, Kitty (died as infant), Clare ( died childbirth), George, Edith and Lyle.
Pappy met wife Marguerite Ann Mallory, she was from Lima, Montana. She had two brothers, one died in infancy (one month old) and the other one Edmund was 4 when he was scalded and died (hot grease). Buried at Humphrey, Idaho (Montana?) She had a very good voice, liked to sing. Very talented. she was about 45 when she was divorced.
