You don't know me, but I believe we have some of the same ancestors, so perhaps we are related. I've been searching my family history and have hit several brick walls, then I came across your World Ancestry Tree entry and I was so excited. My Great-grandfather was Hampton Jerome Peacock born 1863 in Montana (or perhaps Manti, Utah?) he died April 9, 1912 in McCammon, Bannock, ID. He had one brother, John W. Peacock, b. 1860 in St. Louis, Mo., and two sisters, Mary Olevia, b. 1850 in St. Louis, MO who married a Rev. James Foster in Boise on October 25, 1874 (I have newspaper clippings) and Effie Luella Peacock, b. October 27, 1866, Junction City, MT and d. February 4, 1954 in Boise, Ada, Idaho. Effie married William Franklin Hammer. Hampton Peacock married Clara A. McMullen in 1887 in Boise, Idaho. They had three sons, Grover James Peacock, b. September 11, 1888, Boise City, Ada County, ID, d. April 6, 1922 Wenatchee, Chelan County, WA. Claude Peacock, b. October 12, 1892 Ada County, ID and d. January 12, 1901, Boise City, Ada County, ID, and Dewey Hazelum Peacock (My Grandfather)b. May 3, 1898, Boise City, Ada County, ID; d. June 1, 1955, Deer Park, Spokane County, WA. Dewey m. Violet Lenore Thomas July 26, 1922 and had 2 sons, Reginald Thomas Peacock (living), and Ralph Noel Peacock (living). Reginald is my father. I've had a difficult time tracing John and Permelia's roots, although I think I'm make some headway on John Peacock, I've hit a brick wall on Permelia. Please e-mail me if you think you might be able to help and perhaps we could exchange information. Thank's in advance, it was wonderful at least finding someone out there with some connections. Dad remembers great-aunt Mary and aunt Effie!
