Note: ng of the name was changed in the early Quebec parish records. The spelling was sometimes Cotret in fact right now there are ten listings in the Canadian 411 telephone listings that have "Rene de Cotret" as the surname. "Coltret" is incorrect. Some scribes just didn't cross the double "t" in Cottret emphatically enough so you have to look hard to see that it was two T's. I would prefer to see just "RENE" or "RENE COTTRET" as Ursule's surname. She was baptized 11 Feb 1782 in St. Jean Baptiste, Nicolet, Nicolet, Quebec (LDS film 1018147) and she was buried there on 26 Dec 1863 (LDS film 10181450).
