a. Note:   e was born April 21, 1914, in Rooks County to Louis and Delphine (Trembley) Desair. He married Fern E. Bush on Feb. 8, 1937, in Damar. He preceded her in death Oct. 20, 1994. He owned and operated the Desair Recreation in Palco for 22 years. Survivors include two sons, Claude Desair, Damar, and Ron Desair, WaKeeney; four daughters, Jeannette Roy, Stockton, Geraldine Roy, Aurora, Colo., Darlene Marcotte, Plainville, and Connie Fisher, Garden City; 21 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson; and a great-grandson. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Plainville; burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery, near Damar. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, at Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel, Plainville. A ladies guild rosary will be at 3 p.m. Friday, followed by a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. both at chapel. Memorials are suggested to Rooks County Senior Services in care of the chapel.
