Obit: Mrs. Beulah Tripp Allen, 95, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004.The funeral service w ill be conducted today at 1:30 p.m. in the WilkersonFuneral Chapel. Burial will follow in Pin ewood Memorial Park.
Obit: Mrs. Allen was born on Jan. 3, 1909, to the late Bronson and LulaHarris Tripp. She live d in Ayden and Greenville most of her life andresided at Cypress Glenn Retirement Center fo r the last seven years.After working at Blount-Harvey Co. and Best Jewelers for many years, s heretired from Pitt County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Allen was a longtimemember of The Memoria l Baptist Church.
Obit: Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Allen; aswell as three brother s and four sisters.
Obit: Surviving are her daughter, Helen Forehand Hall and husband, RobertJ., of Charleston, S .C.; son, L. Douglas Allen and wife, Alta, of Bogart,Ga.; brother, Harold Tripp and wife, Rub y, of Ayden; four grandchildren,Robert Allen Hall of Charleston, S.C., Nancy Forehand Avery o f Asheboro,L. Douglas Allen Jr. of Lavonia, Ga. and Thomas P. Allen of Athens, Ga.;six great- grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and special friends,Edward C. and Jo Allison Smith .
Obit: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
