a. Note:   s Winchester 30-30 lever-action rifle. He left a message Saturday night on his separated wife's (Sonya Lucas) phone at 7:40 p.m. Sonya returned his call at 12:15 a.m. Sunday and Bruce said he felt tired. No hint that he was considering suicide. Police called Sonya at 2:30 a.m. and said Bruce killed himself between 1:00 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. She said Bruce loved his 30-30 and that she had taken it away once before when he threatened suicide and then later gave it back to him. Bruce had been feeling positive the last week or so and was looking forward to Jess, Shirleen, and Dallin's visit on July 15, 2000. Bruce was buried 5 July 2000 in Juneau at Alaska Memorial Park. A memorial was also held in Anchorage Alaska 15 July 2000. It was later learned that Bruce's biological father, Pete Ekstrom, was also bi-polar and was also suicidal.
  Bruce has 2 half-brothers: Kenneth Jensen, born about 1975 Dillingham, AK and Chad Jensen, born 23 Jul 1983 Dillingham, AK.
