a. Note:   The 1910 Federal Census of Lake Park Township in Becker County lists all the names of orphans at the Lake Park Orphan's Home. Elliot and his sister Hattie are listed. Elliot worked in the Kenyon Minnesota area for seven years prior to the First World War. He worked for Halvor Haugen and in the Nerstrand, Minnesota area and for Iver Haugen. The 1920 Federal census for Holden Township in Goodhue county lists 13 children for Halvor Haugen and 7 children for Ivor Haugen. Elliot's funeral was held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead on Wednesday Oct. 11 1978 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Gabriel Tweet led the service with Marvin Berhow, Muret Berhow, Allen Engelstad, David Johnson, Art Oberg and Ralph Skjaret as pallbearers.
