Note: N63 Oshkosh Daily Northwestern-11 April 1933 - FORMER RESIDENT OF OSHKOSH PASSES AWAY. Mrs. Martha M. Collins of Pensacola, Fla., formerly of Oshkosh, once a stage trouper, died Sunday night in Pensacola. Funeral services and burial were to take place there this afternoon. Mrs. Collins was 53. She lived in Oshkosh up to 24 years ago. While she acted in vaudville, her late husband, Edward Collins, was a screen actor in Hollywood. He proceeded her in death 18 years ago. Mrs. Collins was born in Germany, Sept. 29, 1879 and came to America at the age of 5 with her parents. Mrs. Collins was a daughter of Mrs. Sophia Rennert, 381 Mt. Vernon Street and the late H. S. Rennert, who passed away two years ago. She is survived by two children, Mrs. A. Andresen, of Pensacola, and Edward Collins, Jr., also of Pensacola: her mother; six sisters, Mrs. Lester Phillips, Mrs. Michael Dushenski, and Mrs. Sophia Ebersberger, all of Oshkosh, Mrs. Harry Long of LaGrange, Indiana, Mrs. Andrew Steinbach of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Frank Benes, of Indianapolis, Indiana: and five brothers, Henry G. Rennert, Rudolph and Walter, of Oshkosh, Emil of Appleton, and Otto Rennert of Pensacola. Another brother, Paul, died 24 years ago. Mrs. Collins was a victim of heart disease.
