The family came to Boston on the ship the Eagle, which was part of the Winthrop fleet. They landed on June 30, 1630. The Eagle was later named the Arabella in honor of Lady Arabella Johnson, who with her husband the squire, also rode the windjammer to Boston in 1630. listed as from sudsbury, suffolk, england.
Emigrated with Winthrop fleet in 1630 and participated in the founding of Boston, Massachusetts Bay Colony, but records of him and his wife, Alice,are entirely lacking except for their membership in the Boston church.Settled in Watertown, Middlesex county, Massachusetts. Moved to Stamford, Fairfield county, Connecticut about 1646.
