William Ozzro Fox, retired Shelby County farmer, recently employed as doorman at the Strand and Alhambra theaters, died at his home 927 Morris Avenue at 6:45 o'clock this morning. He was 67 years of age. Mr. Fox had suffered with a heart condition for several years. He was born in Shelby County on May 29, 1883, the son of Thomas Jefferson and Ruth Jane (Baker) Fox and farmed in the Blue Ridge community for several years. He had resided in Shelbyville for about eight years. On November 26, 1906, he was married to Anna May Seely, who survives with two children, Mrs. Dorothy Bassett of Rockport, and Mrs. Martha Worland of rural route 4. Also surviving are four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Lola Miller, of Pasadena, California. Mr. Fox was a charter member of the Blue Ridge Christian Union Church and was a member of the Waldron Masonic lodge. Members of the lodge will participate in last rites. The funeral services in charge of the Carmony Funeral Home of this city, and will be held at the Blue Ridge Church, with the time to be announced later. Burial will be in the Blue Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Thursday.
