Continued: Rev War soldier in Joshua Jordan's Co. and Col. Jonathan Mitchell's Regt 7 Jul - 25 Sep 1779 on Penobscot Expedition, and also served under Gen. George Washington and received a pension of $31 per annum after 4 Mar 1 831 [Pension no. 5623]; came to Narraguagus by vessel and settled 1786 ( or 1789) in northwest corner of Harrington (in the part later set off as Milbridge); on 2 Jun 1794, he received 100-acre lot no. 34 as an original s ettler (Wash Co Deed 2:23) ["Early Narraguagus Families," p. 321].
