a. Note:   arner at the old homeplace in Frogtown NC. Ann Elizabeth was Mary "Polly" Davis' Williams sister. Other sisters and brothers were: Stephen Davis who married Franny Martha Davis-Raleigh Davis-Baxter Davis who married Sarah "Sally" Yow and John Davis who never married.

b. Note:   Other death date of 4-27-1843.
c. Note:   Elizabeth was only 17 when she and Steadman married. I found a deed where she and her husband Steadman sold their timber in 1899. On that deed her signature was: ANN E. GARNER. So I have to assume that her name was Ann Elizabeth Davis. lg
