a. Note:   "Miller" John Sanders: Co. "F" 3rd Infantry Regiment . He was mentioned in accounts from Martin Brewer as being at Camp Lookout Mryland escaping and coming home for a while and returning to prison together with Isham Sanders and Mack Ray. He is buried in the Sanders Cemetery near his home. Page 15a Moore County resident entered at age 25 July 15 1882 for the war. Captured at Frederick Maryland on September 13 1862 and confined at Fort Delaware Delaware until paroled and exchanged at City Point Virginia November 10 1862. Wounded and captured at Chancellorsville Virginia on May 3 1863 and paroled and exchanged at City Point on May 10 1863. Never returned to company. Page 15b
