I believe the Garner Family gave him this female slave to raise his son John after the death of his wife Susannah. Census records indicate that John's mother must have died when he was very young. Concerning the burial place of James Munroe-None has been found. The Stutts Family Cemetery off Ritter Rd. would be a possible site. *James Munroe Garner is listed on 1840 Moore Co. Census as: James Garner Jr.--lag
