a. Note:   ll and was born 10-21-1838 and better known as "Lizzie". She had a sister Lydia Comer Brewer and three brothers Martin-Bill and Peter J. who went to fight in the Civil War and never returned. Lizzie was a very kind and generous woman and also very religious. She never turned a stranger away from her door hungry. When anyone cam to her door begging for food she always fed them and gave them food to take with them. Once she gave a teen-age boy who said his name was "Bob Lee" a home. He came there and told her that he was hungry and had no place to stay. He remained there until he married. One night he whipped his baby. After that he left and never returned. Lizzie raised geese and sold the feather-dried apples and sold them. This was the way she earned money to buy her daughters clothes and shoes and those things she needed. She had a stroke and was sick a long time before her death on 2-18-1902. She is resting beside Archie in the Family Cemetery.
