At her death she was president of the Woman's Society of Christian Service. Edna known for her sincere interest in others and helping meet any need she possibly could always spread a note of cheer. She valued education highly and greatly appreciated and applied what she learned. She attempted to instill in her children the desire or as much education as they could get and keep before them the vision of the opportunities that education would provide. Her life was exemplary.
