a. Note:   reat grandson of John Williamson one of the five brothers to leave Wales and come to Virginia. He married twice and they together had twenty five children. Jeremiah and "Betsy" and children made many trips back and forth from Moore County to Madison County Tennessee. He put the smaller children on an old horse called "A Rat Tail Horse". Jeremiah and Betsy along with the rest of the older children walked.They only took a few supplies like coffee-salt-four-beans and dried beef jerky"-a cook pot-fry pan-coffee pot-bed rolls and a waterproof tarp for shelter and a musket-knife and a hand ax. Descendants of Jeremiah told that he was killed by Indians but no one knows where or when. The old home place in Tennessee is south of Henderson on highway 45 across from the Estes Cemetery. The lower part of Madison County in Tennessee later became McNaire County. Jeremiah may have been a brother to William Williams as his daughter Elizabeth married Thomas Greene Williams the son of William Williams. They all have been Placed at the William Plantation in Moore County North Carolina. Ollie Williams stated Jeremiah's old home place was across the road from the Wallace Cemetery located on highway 24-27. It is located under a big mulberry tree and near the home of Barney Britt he also stated Jeremiah left Moore County and went west to live.
