Note:   Templemore Parish church was St Columb's Cathedral. I have the register for those years and there was no Matthew Taylor/Tayler marriage listed for any date between1703 and 1732. I am seeing similar names and places and am wondering if there is any connection. My 5th great grandparents were Matthew Taylor b.1690 in Ulster, Northern Ireland and Jennet/Jannet Wilson b. abt. 1705 (date not confirmed) also from Ulster, Northern Ireland, we have not been able to prove who her parents were. It is believed they married abt 1720 at Templemore Parish, Londonderry County, Northern Ireland although there is no primary source to back this. They came to Nutfield, later changed to Londonderry, New Hamphire in 1721. They had John-he was born in passage to America on Sept.22, 1721, Agnes, Eleanor, Matthew, Adam, William, Samuel, David and Margaret (may not be in that order). I decend from Matthew who went to Nova Scotia in 1762 he married Elizabeth Archibald, daughter of John Archibald and Margaret Unknown, abt.1751 in Londonderry, NH. They had John my 3rd greatgrandfather, he stayed in Nova Scotia, James moved to New Brunswick, Matthew, he married Rebecca Archibald and moved Ohio, Robert married Mehetabel Wilson and moved to Ohio, David stayed in Nova Scotia, Samuel moved to Ohio, Archilbald stayed in NS and there were some daughters who died young in Nova Scotia. My 2nd greatgrand parents were Ephraim Taylor and Rachel Archibald, they had 10 children, who to my knowledge all stayed in Nova Scotia. Their son Samuel married Sarah Jane Willis and they had 10 children, these 3 sons(William, JohnW. and S.Willis) went to Minnesota I believe around 1881, William later moved to Seattle,Washington. My grandfather James W. Taylor married Matilda Jane Smith, had 10 children and all remained in Nova Scotia. My father James Ernest Taylor married Marion Gladys Lochead and had my 5 brothers, 1 sister and me Elizabeth Ann Taylor. I would be interested to know if you have anything more on Isabella Wilson- 1)who were her parents, siblings 2)where did she marry and when Any info on any of the Taylor lines or Wilson would be greatly appreciated.
