Note:   (Research):From ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- bPosted by: /bJean Nelson (u /u Sorry I have no more more info on Thomas Huston. The Wrights entered our family line in 1834 by marriage. So this has not been a top priority for me. Will try to assist in any way I can. William bGarrison/b was a farmer. In addition I have supported information he was a Democrat and a Presbyterian. He and Leah HarpWright had 11 children in 1850 Census. Their daughter,bSusannah/b, married J.J. DeSpain,an orphaned young man, who worked on a farm down the road from them. I have a series of letters he wrote to her during the Civil War from the battlefield.Almost forgot, their farm was in Clinton,DeWitt Co., Illinois. That is also where T.H. died.Part of my info comes from a letter written in 1913 by a retired judge B.L. Wilmore of Thayer Co. Nebraska. He writes a great deal of his grandparents. Chambers Wright, father of T.H., lived and died in Ireland according to family history. Stories indicate he had 22 children and died at the age of 102. Longevity is common in this family as well as unusual deaths. I hope to locate original letter in possession of my mother because I haven't read it in over 10 years. Additionally I have 1820 census info re:Wrights. Not sure where they fit in or if they do. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- is NOT responsible for the content of the GEDCOMs uploaded through the WorldConnect Program.
