Note:   !Obituary. Death of Jacob S. Albright Jacob S. Albright was born in Carroll county, Kentucky, July 19, 1829, and died in Joplin, Mo, December 23, 1912, aged 82 yrs. 5 mo. and 4 days. He came to Missouri when a young man and settled in Macon county, where he lived about 50 years. For the past several years he has made his home in Joplin. He united with the Baptist church when a young man and was always a loyal christian, an honorable and upright citizen and one who desired to the betterment of the worls. He was first married to Miss Effie Merrifield, who died many years ago. To this union six children were born, three of whom are now living: Monroe Albright, Macon county; W.O. Albright, Los Angeles, Calif.; and Ora Albright, Merced, Calif. In 1884 he was married to Mrs. Sarah J. Barrow, who survives him. Three children blessed this union, Elba, of Bluffs, Ill.; Raymond and Irvin of Jopllin. Deceased had many friends and neighbors who will cherish his memory. The officiating ministers were Rev. L. J. Harris, Rev. W.R. Skinner and Rev. M.L. Heifner. On Wednesday the body was conveyed to Salem church, southeast of Cox. The funeral services there were conducted by Revs. Skinner and Heifner.
