Duvall was born Oct. 7, 1832 in Gallitan Co., KY, and died at the home of her dau., Mrs. Ida Price, in Oconee, Ill. 23 Dec 1923 at the ripe age of 93 years, 2 months and 16 days. March 20, 1850 (actually 1851) she was united to W.M. Duvall. To this union 9 children were born, all of whom have passed to the great beyond with the exception of 2 daus, Mrs. J.H. Frieze of this city and Ida Price of Oconee, Ill, who live to mourn her departure. Mrs. Duvall's husband preceeded her in deat about 4 and a half years ago. They lived in the hold bonds of matrimony for 69 years. Since early womanhood Mrs. Duvall was a devout Christian and was a member of the Methodist chruch at the time of her death. For many years Mr. and Mrs. Duvall made Golden City their home, but since the death of her husband Mrs. Duvall made her home with her dau. in Ill. The body was shipped here for burial, funeral services were held from the local Methodist Chruch Wed., 26 Dec, conducted by Rev. A. Mendenhall followed by burial in the IOOF Cem. !Death Cert., Shelby Co, IL, town of Oconee. Mary E. Duvall, widow, hus. William Duvall deceased Born 7 Oct 1832 in KY.
