 Shercliffe of John and Maria Tennison Shercliffe. Clarissa d. Nov 15, 1895.
 Their children were: Sophia, b. 13 Oct 1847 who m=Wm. Lewis Johnson
 Mattingly; Mary Eleanor, b. 18 July 1849; Zachariah, b. 12 May 1852-d. 1932;
 John T., b. ca 1854, m= Annie E. Alvey 19 Jan 1886; Margaret C. "Maggie" b.
 1856, d. 1928 m= James Mattingly; Georganna, ca 1861, m= Ernest A.
 Mattingly; Charles Llewellyn, b. 19 Feb 1865, d. 8 Jan 1931; m= Agnes Adele
 Hayden; Dr. Leonard B., b. 9 June 1867, d. 25 Nov 1962 m= Mary Edith Morgan
 Mattingly; Obit for Wm. Lewis Johnson Mattingly: died at the residence of
 his son, L. Johnson Mattingly, near Morganza on Tuesday last. He was born in
 March 1845 and spent his entire life in St. Mary's Co. His remains were laid
 to rest in St. Joseph's cemetery, after Mass on Thursday last. (June 11,
 1926, col. 4, p. 4) This was either from the Beacon or the Enterprise
 newspaper. I also have 2 births and 2 death dates for Uriah Johnson. Was he
 born 25 March 1821 and died 23 April 1896? He was buried Old St. Joseph's
 RCC, in Morganza and he was the son of John and Martha. J
