Notes
a. Note:   e 4 with his father, Benjamin. He lived in the Village of Arkadelphia, Beat 24, Blount Co. (now Cullman Co.), AL in 1880 (age 23) with his wife Mary Frances (age 17). Arkadelphia became a part of Cullman Co. when Cullman was created in 1877. He was still living in Arkadelphia in 1892 when his daughter, Lizzie Beth, was born. In 1900 he lived at Moscow (near Sulligent), Lamar Co., AL (age 44) with his wife (age 37) and eight of his twelve children. The census information indicated that his house was rented. After the death of Mary Frances in 1901 he married Eula Mae Guyton on 28 Jan 1904 and had nine more children. He lived at Moscow, Lamar Co., AL in 1920 with wife Eula and children: Hobson, Ed, Alice, Charlie, Ruby, Euel, and Frank. His mother-in-law, Sallie, also lived with them. He owned a country store in Dora that was located near what is now Dora Road and Bussey Road. His son, Johnny, lived on that property until his death in 2008. Some researchers feel his name was Edward, but I think it was Edmund. This is based on what was told by me by his daughters, Lizzie Beth (my grandmother) and Ruby Lee and his son, Johnny. Also on the 1920 Lamar Co., AL census he was listed as Edmun. Ruby Lee and Johnny also identified Edmund in a picture of him with his father and brothers.
Note:   He is listed on the 1860 Census Montgomery Co., AL Ramer District at ag
