a. Note:   Obituary that appeared in the London Free Press, November 18, 2002 NUNN - Peacefully at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, on Friday November 15, 2002. Norman "Norm" Nunn of Tillsonburg in his 73rd year. Born in South Middleton Township, Norfolk County, on July 27th, 1929. Dear son of the late Harvey Nunn Sr. and the late former Jennie Ponting. Life long resident of this area. Employed at Delta Leaf Tobacco, 1970 until 1992. Employed for a number of years at Pearce Motors, Canadian Leaf Tobacco Co. and Coyle Motors. Member of Tillsonburg Royal Canadian Legion Br. #153. Member of Tillsonburg Golf and Country Club for over 45 years and former treasurer of Club. Very active in Tillsonburg Bowling Leagues, Thursday - Men's Commercial League for over 40 years and Tuesday night men's Leagues. Presently employed by the Emerson Tobacco Co. of Tillsonburg as secretary. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Bob (R.H.) Sr. and Mary Nunn, Delhi. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three brothers and three sisters: Charles Nunn, W.B. Nunn, Harvey Nunn (Veldron); Dorothy Burnett (Royce), Gladys Morris (Ray), Phyllis Person (Peter). At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A public memorial service will be held at Verhoeve Funeral Home, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg, on Saturday, November 23, 2002, at 11 a.m. by Rev. Keith Sutherland of Langton Baptist Church. Inurnment of ashes will take place prior to memorial service, in the family plot at Jackson Cemetery.
