Some suggest she was a Hendrickson based on the presence of Mary Hendrickson b 1836 in the Stroup household, but this seems just a guess. The assertions that Elizabeth was a Richards may be some confusion with the Richard Todd who married Elizabeth Richards in Virginia, possible grandfather of Richard Todd b 1781.
