a. Note:   e ? W. O. Todd - William Oscar Todd, 61, passed away at his home near CaneHill on April 8th. Death was from heart trouble, and was sudden, withno preceding illness. Mr. Todd was a native of Tennessee, but came toDade County as a child of eight with his parents, W.L. and Mary I.Todd, and spent his youth and young manhood in Dade County. Some 35yeas ago he went to California and was married there to Miss AthaliaTefertiller, a former school mate of Sac Township. They made theirhome in California for 30 years, returning to Dade County about fiveyears ago. He is survived by his widow, three brothers and one sister, Tom Toddof Filley, Missouri, USA.; Jas. Todd of Lindsay, Calif.; and Mrs.Sallie Douglas of southern California; and a host of other relativesand friends. He has always been esteemed as a generous and well respected citizenpatient and thought in meeting the obligation of a good husband,brother, and neighbor. Funeral services were conducted by Elmer Fox atthe home on Thursday and interment was made in Flint Hill cemetery. ____________________________________________
