Note: KOEBEL, BEATRICE ANNIE (BETTY) - It is with heartfelt sorrow that the Koebel family announce the sudden passing into the arms of her loving saviour Jesus Christ, on Monday, October 2, 2006, at her home in Linwood. Betty was born in Nichol Township 83 years ago. She was the daughter of the late Albert Rogers and the late Ida Hayes. Beatrice was a faithful member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Linwood, where she was active with the L.C.W. Betty is now reunited with her loving husband, John L. Koebel (1996) and her daughter, Shirley (1999). Beloved mother of Ronald and his wife Judy Koebel of Linwood, Gerald and his wife Cindy Koebel of Linwood and Marilyn and her husband Gerald Bordman of Waterloo. Dear sister of David and his wife Nancy Rogers of Okotoks, Alta., Winniford Bott of Palmerston, Muriel Waite of Elmira, Marjorie Dezell of Arkona. Lois and her husband William Brown of Drayton, Iris Smith of London, Grace and her husband Bill Saul of Wasaga Beach and Donna and her husband Dwight Lapeare of Sarnia. Cherished Grandma of Michelle, Melissa, Tanya, Tiffany, Tina and T.J. Bordman. Great-grandma of Brittany, Emily, Nicholas, Josh, Keith, Shelby and Frank.Predeceased by two sisters, Mary Newman and Ruth McKeegan and by her brothers-in-law, Lawrence, Wilbert, Roger, Nelson and Don Richmond. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 1172 Henry St. in Wellesley, where family and friends will be recieved on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Linwood on Thursday October 5, 2006 at 2 p.m. Pastor Mark Urquart will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's R.C. Cemetery, Macton. Memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
