a. Note:   PEGELO, Elmer William Edward - Passed away peacefully, at Elgin Abbey Nursing Home, Chesley, on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Madeline (Golem) for over 60 years. Cherished father of Ivan and his wife Kathy of Chesley, Ivadel Todd and her husband Howard of Dornoch (formerly of Guelph), Dorothy Bell and her husband Winston of Kitchener and Marilyn (Marnie) Slumskie and her husband Bob of Durham. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Lori (Mike) Ferringo and Michelle (Dan) Matteucci, all of Guelph, Heather (Dale) Bast, Jason Bell (Becky and her daughter Reann), Dallas (Jen) Bell, Monty Bell (Liz), all of Kitchener and Andrew Slumskie of Durham. Dear great-grandfather of Todd Ferringno, Vincent Matteucci, Cory and Amanda Bast, Nicole Bell and Hayden and Nathan Bell. Elmer is survived by sisters, Lila (Arnold) Knapp, Ruby (Morris) Knapp of Chesley and several nieces and nephews. Elmer will also be missed by Madeline's family, Harvey and Mary Golem of Owen Sound, Clarence Golem of Shaunavon, Sask., Wilfred and Marion Golem and sister-in-law, Marguerite Golem, all of Chesley.
