Note: KUEPFER, Mrs. Allan (Clara) - Peacefully, on Friday, May 23, 2003, at her home, RR 1, Millbank.Clara (Gerber) Kuepfer was born in Wellesley township 91 years ago. Daughter of the late Christian R. Gerber and the late Catherine Nafziger. Clara was a member of the Mornington Amish Mennonite Church. Beloved mother of Erma Zehr of Brunner, Roy and his wife Barbara Kuepfer of RR 1, Newton, Ian and his wife Dorothy Kuepfer of Wellesley, Elsie and her husband Aaron Steckly of Newton, Clara and her husband Norman Lichty of RR 1, Linwood, Reta and her husband Albert Kuepfer of Linwood and Mary Jane and her husband Donald Jantzi of RR 1, Millbank. Loving sister of Roy and his wife Arlene Gerber of Wellesley, Marion and her husband Ben Kuepfer of Wellesley, Emma and her husband Onias Martin of Drayton and Katie Schellenberger of Sebringville. Lovingly remembered by 42 grandchildren and 73 great-grandchildren.Predeceased by her husband, Allan S. Kuepfer, October 21, 2000 and by a son-in-law, Mervin Zehr, 1967; by two brothers, Valentine and Lloyd Gerber; sisters-in-law, Clara Gerber, Freida Gerber and Erma Gerber; brother-in-law, Stanley Schellenberger, 2003; also be three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 1172 Henry St. in Wellesley, where family and friends will be received tonight (Saturday) from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A family service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m. followed by the funeral service at the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m., Bishop Aaron J. Jantzi will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mornington Amish Mennonite Cemetery, Poole West. Memorials to the Community Care Access Centre of Waterloo Region would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
