Note: "The death occurred on Friday, January 17th, of Sarah O'Donnell, widow of the late William Bennett of Arthur Township, in her fifty fifth year. She resided in the Kootenay District of British Columbia for twenty-five years where she met and married the late William Bennett, a prominent mining man. Seven years ago she returned to Mount Forest and took up her late residence. She is survived by four children George, Fred, Marguerite and Evelyn, all at home; two brothers, Neil O'Donnell of Fort George, B.C., and Barney O'Donnell, of Seattle, Washington; five sisters, Miss Teresa O'Donnell of Sandon B.C.; Mrs. J. P. Doherty of Fort William; Mrs. W. Ernewein of Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. John Goodyear and Miss Mary O'Donnell of Mount Forest. The funeral was held on Jan. 20th, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Mount Forest. Requiem high mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Doyle. The remains were interred in Holy Cross Cemetery. The pall bearers were D.J. Cummins, F.J. Hinchey, M. Troy, Wm. Troy, Robt. Seifried, Chas. Murphy. The deceased, being of gentle and pleasing disposition, was affectionately esteemed by a large circle of acquaintances who manifested their regard by numerous spiritual and floral offerings.
