a. Note:   Clarence was born in October 1919 the son of William and Karolina (Stevahn) Finck of Heil, North Dakota. Holy Baptism was reinserted unto him in infancy, and in 1934 he was confirmed. On October 12, 1946, he joined hands in Holy Wedlock with Helen Quast, they had no children. He was a member of the Hope Congregational Church in Elgin, North Dakota. He held several offices in the church and he fulfilled them with the best of his ability. He fully dedicated his life to the Lord, which gave him a fuller and deeper spiritual meaning. He passed away Monday morning at 12:15pm. before his passing he was bedfast at home and in the hospital for several months. Age at time of death 35 years and a few days. Funeral services were held Thursday, October 28, 1954 in Congregational Church, with Rev. A. Orman officiating. Burial was made in the Congregational cemetery in Elgin. Meyer Funeral Home made the arrangements and the Pallbearers were Robert Trautman, John Schock, Dan Sprenger, Bernie Maas, Richard Fischer, and Art Schock.
