Note: Marie was born in July 1900, the daughter of Fredrich and Karoline (Schnabel) Kramer of Kassel, South Russia. In 1907 she emmigrated to the United States with her parents and lived in Wishek, North Dakota and later went by train to Elgin, Noth Dakota. In September, 1928 she married Wilhelm Stevahn in her parents home and they established their home on his patents farm one mile south of Elgin. They had no children. Marie passed away January 6, 1986 at Bismarck, North Dakota. Services were held at Zion American Lutheran Church in Elgin, at 10:30am on Thursday, January 9, 1986. Officiating was Rev. Donald Schumacher, interment at Zion American Lutheran Cemetery, in Elgin, North Dakota. Casket bearers; Leo Kramer, Elmer Kramer, Raymond Friez, Harold Friez, Kenneth Kramer, Al P. Kramer. Evanson, Jenson Funeral Home in Elgin made arrangements.
