a. Note:   One of the five brothers who moved from REhoboth to Lebanon, Connecticut. between 1720-1726. Lived and died in Lebanon, Connecticut on land acquired from his brother, Amos. The home Joshua build in 1745 was remaining in good condition in 1890, having been passed down to Samuel, to Bezeliel (oldest son of Joshua, Jr.) to Chester, to children Charles A. and Orilla. He died in Lebanon, New London, Connecticut. [p. 7.] JOSHUA and ABIEL lived and died in Lebanon, Connecticut., on the farms they purchased; JOHSUA of his brother AMOS, 1722, and ABIEL of his brother BENJAMIN, 1726. Joshua purchased his farm from his brother Amos, Nov. 5, 1722, and left it to his second son Samuel, who bequeathed the same to his nephew Bezeliel (the oldest son of Joshua, Jr.), who left it to his son Chester, who willed it to his son Charles A. and daughter Orrilla, remaining in the family to 1890. ...buried in the old Columbia burying ground, where his monument is standing.
