"Today, the 22nd of January 1805, did I, Amandus George and Margaret Bintz, receive the sacrament of Matrimony; and I, Amandus George, on the 22nd of July, in the year 1809, am 35 years old and my wife Margaret Bintz on the 22nd of November 1805 was 25 years old."
Amandus, Born July 22, 1775 and died December 9, 1861 at fouch. He married Margaret Bintz (1780-1852) on January 22, 1805 and she died on February 3, 1852 - born November 2, 1780. They lived at Offen and had nine children. The last of whom was my mother's father Nicholas Y. George born on June 3, 1825.
