Note: Clara M. Ebersviller, daughter of Nicholas and Marie (Krusche) Ebersviller was born August 24, 1900 in Candor Township, Vergas, Minnesota. She was educated in the Vergas school system and came to South Dakota as a young woman. She married Joseph S. Flannery on January 30, 1923 in Montrose, SD. Mr. Flannery died in 1958. Clara died at Colonial Manor Home in Salem, SD on July 18, 1985. Survivors include two sons, Vincent of Montrose, SD; and the Reverend Robert of Watertown, SD; six daughters, Rosemary, Mrs. Ralph Kapaun of St. Paul, MN; Lavonne, Mrs. Frank Hayden of Watertown, MN; Joanne, Mrs. Phillip Weber of Pierre, SD; Colleen, Mrs. Curtis Ronning of Sioux Falls, SD; Betty, Mrs. Jerome Rotert of Huron, SD; and Cathy, Mrs. Thomas Duffy of Indianola, Iowa; thirty-two grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one sister, Alma Zimmer of Montrose, SD. She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, and two sisters.
