a. Note:   Jeff Lacey, 57, of 2701 N. Six Mile Rd., Sioux Falls, SD died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at Sioux Valley Hospital following a short battle with cancer. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, at George Boom Funeral Home, with interment at Hills of Rest Memorial Park. Jeffry Lynn Lacey, son of Robert and Dorothy (Watson) Lacey, was born February 21, 1948 at Sioux Falls, SD. He grew up and was educated in Brandon, graduating in 1966. He was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. Jeff was united in marriage with Patricia Card on May 18, 1968 at Sioux Falls, SD. Following Jeff�s honorable discharge, they settled in Sioux Falls, where he worked at John Morrell & Co. for 10 years in the Night Cleanup Department. He purchased A-1 Septic Service and later added the excavating service and the portable restroom service. They sold the business in 1989 and moved to Spearfish, SD, where he purchased a lawn service, which he sold in 1994. They returned to Sioux Falls, where he started Lacey Chemical Restrooms and then added Lacey Lawn Services. Jeff was a member of Trinity Lodge #200 A.F. & A.M, Scottish Rite Bodies of Sioux Falls, and was extremely active in the El Riad Shrine, where Jeff was active with the Circus Committee, Past President of the Oriental Band, Past President of the Sprint Car Unit, the Classic Car Unit, and served on the Divan as Chief of Staff. He is a member of the Brandon VFW Three Rivers Post #4726, Splitrock Fire Department and Brandon Valley Baptist Church. He was a past member of the Izaak Walton and the Moose Lodge. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Patricia Lacey, two sons, Travis Lacey and Heath (Kelly Bukowski and her daughter, Skyler) Lacey, a very special grandson, Jeff Lacey, all of Sioux Falls, SD; a brother, Frank Lacey and his wife, Luella, Salem, SD; two sisters, Luanne Alberty and her husband, Kent, Sioux Falls, SD, and Lisa Nelson and her husband, Scott, Sioux Falls, SD; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
