a. Note:   Funeral services for Robert Zulk were held November 27, 1999 in Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Canova, SD. Rev. Jeff Hansen officiated at the service. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Gene Zulk, LaVern Jacobsen, Terry Jacobsen, Richard Jacobsen, Stuart Jacobsen, Scott Jacobsen, Sid Marten, Chuck Marten, Ray Gosmire, Lonnie Anderson, Jerry Lundberg, Mick Lundberg, Dave Lounsbery, and Steve Lounsbery. Robert Zulk was born on a farm near Canova, SD on April 5, 1931 to William and Amalia (Graese) Zulk. He grew up on the farm and attended country school near there. He married Darlene Lounsbery at Montrose, SD on October 3, 1951. He farmed all his life in the Canova area within 2 miles of where he was born. Bob passed away at his farm on November 24, 1999. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Canova, SD where he was baptized and confirmed. He loved to fish and hunt, and was an avid reader and was very good with figures. Survivors include his wife, Darlene of Canova, SD; seven children, Lavon Oswald of Howard, SD; Steve Zulk and his wife Tammy of Canova, SD; Ken Zulk and his wife Kathy of Canova, SD; Lori Hiemstra of Salem, SD; Marcia and her husband Richard Krueger of Spencer, SD; Jim Zulk and his fiancee Jen Berg of Emery, SD; Dan Zulk of Huron, SD; 13 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and five sisters, Lorna and her husband S.A. Marten of Canova, SD; Alice Jacobsen of Canova, SD; Hazel and her husband Virgil Gosmire of Canova, SD; Delma and her husband Wally Anderson of Sioux Falls, SD; and Lois Lundberg of Sioux Falls, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents, two children, Ron Zulk and Sandy Webb; two brothers, Wilmar and Adolph and an infant sister, Arlene. is NOT responsible for the content of the GEDCOMs uploaded through the WorldConnect Program.
