Weber on February 9, 1916 in Bridgewater at St. Stephen's Church. In 1979 they celebrated 63 years of togetherness. Leo was born on a farm east of Bridgewater and his wife Mary was born on a farm north of town. Mr. and Mrs. Weber were the parents of nine children: Charles Weber, who died in World War II, August 1943; Anastasia Weber, who married Lawrence Feterl and now lives in Mitchell, SD; Thresilla Weber who married Ralph Feterl and now lives in Bridgewater, SD; Joe Weber married Joan Wagner and live in Alexandria, SD; Vernon Weber married Arlene Turnes and live in Bridgewater; Dolores Weber married Robert Huls and live near Salem, SD; Donald Weber married Edythe Janssen and live in Bridgewater, SD; James Weber married Kay Morrison and live at Natick, Mass.; Mary Ann Weber married Lloyd Schultz and live at Colman, SD. The couple had 43 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Weber farmed east of Bridgewater most of their married life until 1960 when they retired to Bridgewater.
