Note: Obituary - Remsen Bell Remsen Centenarian leaves 145 direst descendants Mrs. Tony ( Regina) Pick, 93, long-time Remsen resident , died unexpectedly Friday(Nov. 23, 1990) at her home. Funeral was at 10:30 a.m. today (Monday) at Remsen St. Mary�s Catholic Church with Rev. John M. McGuirk officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Visitation was after 2 p.m. Sunday with a Christian Mother�s rosary at 3 p.m.. and a vigil prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Fisch Funeral home in Remsen. The former Regina Roling was born Sept. 5, 1897, at Petersburg, Iowa to Fred and Mary Reisberg Roling. She moved with her family to Remsen in 1900 and has since lived there. She married Tony Pick Feb. 13, 1917, at Remsen. The couple farmed near Remsen and moved into town in 1952. Mr. Pick died Dec. 15, 1958. She was a member of St. Mary�s Church and Christian Mother�s Society. Survivors are three sons, Alfred and James of Remsen and Milo of Granville: Three daughters, Mrs. Louis (Addie) George of Remsen; Mrs. Harold (Rita) Wanderscheid of Le Mars, and Mrs. Cyril (Edna) Haupert of Granville; 47 grandchildren and 92 great-grandchildren; two brothers Lawrence Roling of Remsen and Gilbert Roling of Kingsley; two sisters, Mrs. Albert (Eleanor) Siefke and Mrs. Ernest (Martha) Groepper, both of Remsen. She was also preceded in death by a son, Darold; a great-granddaughter; a brother, Frank Roling and four sisters, Mrs. Paul (Sally) Rodesch; Mrs. Al (Henrietta) Tentinger and Marie Roling.
